So what are you waiting for?

We’ve been whistled at, honked at, kissed at, creepily stared at and yelled at. Apparently there is something really attractive about sweaty girls holding signs by the road.
We’ve been out here for about 12 hours and it’s been hot but it’s also been a great experience. It feels good to hold up a sign and feel like, some how, you’re changing the world and inspiring others to do the same.
So, my sister is 7, and this past weekend she became a state champion in acrobatics. I look at her, smile, and think: WHY ARE YOU SO MUCH COOLER THAN ME!!
I still can’t do the splits, though I’ve tried, and she does it with ease. Or doing a handstand on someone’s hands WHILE they are holding you up? What are you, little girl? A MUTANT!?
Nevertheless, I am a proud big sister. At seven years old she’s training hard and learning that if you want something, you gotta work hard for it. She is just so great. Simply, amazing.
Also, today is Memorial day. This is a small, modest shout out from a small town girl, but regardless of all that, I am a proud American citizen. Today we remember and thank all those who have risked their lives to fight for our freedom. Let us never forget the cost of freedom and the sacrifice that was made. God Bless America!
I seriously love this guy.. more than Grace loves him.
Shall we get married? I think yes..
